Excellent Carpet Cleaning: Guide To Bed Bug Control

Bed bugs are one of the most difficult pests to treat. A single spray will not eliminate them completely, as sprays often do not affect the eggs. Follow-up inspections and treatments are always required. Bed bug treatment can be tricky but we are Orange’s best bet for eradication!

What Cleaning We Can Do
Chemical Removal

Excellent technicians use approved and registered pesticides and select the best option for your home.

  • Dusts – reach into cracks, voids, and hidden areas.
  • Sprays – applied to targeted surfaces.
  • Vacuuming & preparation advice – helps maximise chemical effectiveness.
Physical Removal
  • HEPA vacuums are used to safely remove live bed bugs and eggs.
  • Hot Water Extraction (steam cleaning) is carried out on carpets, lounges, and mattresses. This method kills bed bugs at every stage of their life cycle.
What Cleaning You Can Do

To support the treatment and reduce re-infestation, please prepare your home before your bed bug treatment:

  • Declutter your space and wash all bedding and clothing in a hot water cycle.
  • Wipe down all surfaces and move furniture away from walls to allow our team access.
  • Vacuum the edges of rooms, furniture, and fixtures before the treatment.
  • Seal and discard vacuum bags immediately to prevent eggs from spreading.
  • Any items that cannot be heat-treated should be placed in a sealed bag and stored in the freezer overnight.
Why Follow-Up Is Important

One treatment often isn’t enough, and multiple visits may be needed.
Eggs are the biggest challenge as they can hatch weeks later.
Your preparation helps – washing, vacuuming, and drying speed up results.

Please follow these steps carefully to get the best results from your treatment.
